I received my Aventuras Notice of Annual Meeting. It appears there really isn't much to vote for or owner voice. My options are to basically 1) designate Robert Welch or another individual to attend and vote and 2) have the proxy provided for quorum purposes only or for "General Powers."

Robert Welch is VP Operations @ Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation. How convenient.

My vote would not be for 'General Powers'. That allows them to vote however they wish on other items that may come up during the meeting. I suspect providing the proxy doesn't mean much either way.

We have 170,000 Aventuras points/options and have never received any such information. I did not know there is an Aventuras Club. Is this something we sign up for? FWIW we are very disappointed with Aventuras so far. Wish we had not bought.

I think Aventuras might be good if you go to Los Cabos? There is no other way to book there at 12 months. For Cancun, I suspect it doesn't add a lot since Lagunamar was mostly sold out when they launched Aventuras.

According to the auditor's report the developer owns a LOT of units at Lagunamar, close to 25% of the entire resort. Lagunamar can also provide a good rental revenue, well in excess of the MF.
