Smallest amount of Marriott Points for II priority?

I wasn’t referring to II exchanges, only reservations made through MVC

Then I am not sure what you are asking. Going back and reading it again, are you wanting to rent points and then see if MVC will swap the points from an existing reservation with the rented ones?

Don’t know if this is the right forum for this question, but does anyone know if you rent Marriott Points can you exchange those points with existing reservations you have with borrowed points from future use year?
Are you asking if rented points can be inserted into an existing reservation previously made with borrowed points in order to free up those borrowed points to go back into their original Use Year? If so, assuming the rented points cover the period of the existing ressy, then yes, it can be done. Will need to call MVC and ask them do swap the points. May need to speak to a supervisor to get it done, and even then, they sometimes will need to get IT involved to make it happen.

You only need to pay for the upgrade fees once. So if you upgraded from a studio to a 2BR at the start, the only time you may need to pay an additional upgrade fee is if you EPlus retrade into a 3BR or larger. If you traded studio for studio and later EPlus to a 1BR, you will pay the fee, but if you EPlus again to a 1BR, no additional upgrade fee.
I think that is what I said. What am I missing?

Yes this is what I was asking about
Thank you

Most people would look to WIllow Ridge Lodge in Branson as a cheap trader.
I would think Willow Ridge Platinum is the cheapest appropriate trading week (up front and nearly) with Grande Chateau being the next cheapest option. Often simply price and yearly fees aren't the only considerations. Something one might use or enroll later might come into play.

Are you asking about reservations made via Marriott using DC Points? If so, yes, you can try to exchange the borrowed points used for an existing DC reservation with the points that you borrow from other DC members. But, the interval(s) in question will need to still be available (the process is effectively a new booking using the rented points and a cancellation of the reservation using borrowed points,) and, the borrowed points that are returned will be subject to any cancellation restrictions.

{eta} Ah, @Fasttr was quicker on the draw. :)
