How many 3BR units are there at Marriott Marbella? I'm wondering what my chances are for getting a couple in March 2023 through Interval (I have three 3-BR units deposited from another resort).

I believe that there are 20 3BR units in Marbella.
It is approximately that number anyway, with most buildings having one and sometimes two of them.

I think for March you have a good chance, May through September would be much more difficult.

Depending on what you are trading, you may be better off using the Owner Discount rate. I can't check after Feb 2023 as of now, but the rates below are for 3BR units (I entered 8 adults) using the Presidential/Chairman discount. Playa Andaluza is 1100 Euros for 7 nights in a 3BR and Marbella Resort is 1500 Euros. And you get a 7-day cancelation policy (although on the phone they told me in the past it was 21-day).

I often find using these rates and renting out my own unit is better than an outright exchange.

For what it's worth, I understand that there are 45 3-bedroom units at Playa Andaluza...some of which are lockoffs.

A facebook poster tells me there are 78 3BR units at Marriott's Marbella beach resort. He listed the numbers for other unit sizes too, so the number 78 sounds authentic.

It is interesting because Owner Services could not confirm the numbers, only the total number of units for the resorts, which for Europe is
Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort: 288
Marriott's Playa Andaluza: 173
Marriott's Club Son Antem: 224
Marriott's Village d'ile-de-France: 185
I will contact the resorts directly to check the number of 3 Beds for each.
It was this chart which led me to believe that there may be ~20 in Marbella, but these references may just be showing the location in each building which if on each floor could well multiply up to ~80.

Staying here now, and 78 sounds correct. There are four floors in each building (0-3) but only two of residences above the guest services area.
