As a long-time owmer as Stormy Pont Village, I was totally unimpressed with the presentation Capital Vacations made to my family in an effort to get us to pony up a few more thousand dollars to join their points system. And I am very interested in hearing what other owners think about this new group.

Yes, I want to stay there sometime myself. I noticed a very definitely lack of inventory in II now. I really wanted to stay there this next September with my mother-in-law. She has never been to Branson, so she would love it. She will be 92 by then.

There was never any real feedback on the message and I have the very same question of if anyone has actually agreed to join Capital Vacations?

No. we have been owners of what is now Summer Winds, for years. We will not be joining CV.
My question is similar. Has anyone actually succeeded in completing a deedback of Summer Winds or any property in MO associated with CV? How do you know they (CV or your timeshare) didn't drop the ball?

We too, have been Stormy Point owners. Attended a CV presentation, and didn't trust what we were told. We opted to just keep our ownership exactly as is, at Stormy Pt and Not join CV's point system.

Great call. Owners don’t have to join CV as they are told. We’ve been to 2 ‘owner’s updates’ & said no both times. We are listed as legacy owners now on the sales’ paperwork. We were just there between Xmas & New Years & met several unhappy owners who paid $$ for points who now cannot get their weeks as they could before CV. Keep your deeded week & continue to use II as you had in the past.
