Lockoff room ?

What’s the difference between the deluxe and lockoff room at the Wyndham resort? There is the difference in points and sizes that’s all I know. Thank you

A lock off unit is made up of 2 separate units with separate entrances with a door that goes between the units. A 2BR Lock off would often be made up of a 1BR Deluxe with a full kitchen and a 1BR Suite with a mini or partial kitchen.
 
It probably depends on which resort you mean. Typically, though, lockoff units are a bit bigger than deluxe ones of the same number of bedrooms and can be locked off (hence the name) into a couple of units - that is a 2 BR LO can be separated into a 1 BR Deluxe and a 1 BR suite or studio. The details are all on the Wyndham website for the individual resorts.
 
Also lock off units will often have 2 kings instead of 1 king + 2 doubles.
 
..... and a full kitchen, and another mini Kitchen in the lock off side.

.... and often times 2 living areas, one on each side of the LO.
 
Best bet, though, is to look at the resort specific information on the Wyndham website.

Nashville is 1 BR Suite and 1 BR Deluxe that combine to make the 2 BR Lockoff. The Suite has a smaller living room, and does not have a full kitchen. The Deluxe side has a full larger living room, a washer and dryer, and a full kitchen.

I've stayed there before several times. Wyndham used to have floor plans on the website, but they seem to rather sparse on providing them these days. But the floor plan is what Jim has posted.

I have a book of floorplans and room numbers notated for some locations that I frequent often.
 
One of my pet peeves -- lack of floor plans. Unfortunately, even when a floor plan is available, it isn't always very helpful. Here, for example, the lock off doors open to what is labeled the dressing area in the "B-side." Something isn't quite right -- either poor design or an error in the floor plan.

I can't remember which resort but there is one floor plan for a LO unit that shows no entry to one side except through the LO door.
 
Actually that floor plan is correct. What they call a dressing area is a hallway off the living area and the bedroom that you could certainly use as a dressing area since the bedroom is quite small. Also, even the 1 bedroom suite or B side has a washer dryer in it. Not so important if you're renting the whole 2 bedroom unit, but good to know if you are just renting the Suite as I have a number of times.

Also I have noticed that the lockoffs in several Wyndhams I've been in let a lot of noise through the connecting door. Sometimes a normal level conversation on one side can clearly be heard in the other. And if the other unit is playing a type of music you don't care for, too bad. Even when it's playing at a normal level.

The lock off units we've stayed in were connected at either the living areas on both sides or near at least one of the entrances. Obviously, it doesn't have to be that way.

In the last fifteen months, we spent about 1/3 of our time away from home while I was teleworking. Whenever possible, we booked lock off units so I could telework without distractions. Also, my wife didn't feel like she had been banished to the MBR.

The biggest problem was that the dining table in the B-side is usually a little round thing, big enough for my government-issued laptop but too small for my personal laptop, documents, spreadsheets, etc.
