We Tried 12 lce Cream Sandwiches and This is the Best

Klondike has always been my favorite.
But I choose chocolate.
.

Carvel's flying saucers was my favorite but it is not on this list. Chocolate was always my choice of ice cream as well.

Not a fan of the soft chewy mess that sticks in your teeth. I do like an It’s It cookie ice cream sandwich.

Costco used to have ice cream sandwiches which were between two chocolate chip cookies. Plus it was a really high quality vanilla ice cream. I think the brand was 100lb Gorilla or something.

None of these sound that good.

They were (good) knockoffs of Chipwiches! Do they still make Chipwiches?

Just by looking at the boxes, I figured mayfield would be the best. It has that “damn good ice cream sandwich” looking box.

Since we are talking about ice cream sandwiches.....

Has anyone had a Coolhaus ice cream sandwich? They had trucks in NYC. They took fresh baked cookies and a scope of ice cream and made you a sandwich on the spot. You could mix and match their flavors. My brother and I were coming back from lunch when we saw this. I think I had fudge cookies with mexican chocolate ice cream.

I dont think they had chips around the outside of the ice cream like chipwich did, but otherwise, they were 100X better. I just goggle it and they were called 600lb Gorilla.

I feel like the original Chipwiches didn't have chocolate chips around the ice cream either.

I just looked up 600lb Gorilla and they had a big lawsuit with their ice-cream provider, Mister Cookie Face. Here's an article about it from 2018...they do mention that 600lb Gorilla had given up their frozen treat business. https://www.boston.com/news/business/2018/07/05/600-lb-gorillas-mister-cookie-face
