I just completed a resale purchase of Westin Desert Willow Plat+ week and want to add it to my non-developer Interval International account. How can I do that?

If I were to ever retro this week into the system, how would I move it into my developer Interval account?

To answer the first question, call II. They can add it. There is a fee $39 I think. Though you can add a unit for "free" by paying for an additional year membership or even upgrading to gold or platinum.

If I were to retro this week, how do I get it over to my developer II account?

I didn't answer that because I don't know. Hopefully someone else will know.

I have to ask: why would you pay to retro a Desert Willow week when you can buy a Kierland week with the same attributes (2bd lockoff with148100 transferrable SO's, prime desert location, + rentable at a nice profit) for less money than what it will cost to retro that Desert Willow week?

Not to mention that you will probably be able to sell the Kierland week for what you paid for it while you will lose every penny you pay to retro the Desert Willow week.

I already own a lot of Kierland. I am aiming to “diversify” my portfolio if you will. Personal choice.

To get it over to your corporate account, it would go through the same process as if you were buying a mandatory resort resale. Vistana would have to set it up in your corporate account after the retro. It would probably remain in your personal account too especially if you have a deposit (which would not move). If it bothers you to have a resort listed in your personal account that you can't use, you could ask II to remove it.

On a related note, there is an old SVR resale week that I sold a while back still listed in my II personal account. Is it easy for II to just remove that?

yes they can remove after they add - but it takes a few days to add so you would have to call back a second time to remove

I had a resale SMV week that I had added to my personal II account and deposited a week, no problem. Then I did a retro into network, and now it shows up in my Vistana corporate account, again no problem. The week I deposited into my personal account before the retro is still there.

The only thing that was confusing was that I thought that to deposit into my personal account I would need the week reserved to trade. But to do the deposit they had to cancel my reserved week.

One thing to consider - make sure your deeds match your profile info on II or they won't accept it.
