Marriott IT Wrecked Once Again: Bonvoy Free Night Certificates Can’t Be Used Online Anymore
Marriott’s website is acting up again.
Was it a week that you originally exchanged into and cancelled or retraded?That's OK, I just got someone else's folio emailed to me after they checked out of Cypress Harbour. SMH

I have this issue forever with 5-night hotel certs that are part of a travel package. Each call is 2 to 3 hours long, problem usually only resolved after 3 calls after several days because the agents were not trained on how to attach or that they have not access to their IMS system where only partial travel (hotel) certs can be attached to reservations. I have given up and I have 4 more 5-night partial hotel certs that I am not going to redeem. I will just let them lapse and I will just not ever redeem points for travel packages again.

Yes. But in the past, the agent could just attach it. NOW, since the merger the agents cannot attach these certificates. They need to get hold of someone in the backend who has access to IMS system and even then, most of the people with access to IMS system do not do them correctly.
