This week a female soccer player traveled with the Commodores to possibly be the first female to play in a power 5 game. Should football just become a coed sport?

Currently Title IX is responsible for dozens of men’s xc, track, wrestling teams being eliminated as well as men’s teams being underfunded compared to the same women’s teams. All because football counts as a men’s sport. Football should be not be counted for Title IX as it distorts the balance.

Yes and? Probably second most popular after Mexico in Latin America.

I guess you do not know the joke the NCAA is when it comes to Olympic sports. Men have less roster spots, scholarships, more competitive, same amount of meal money when a male eats more then a female, longer practices as well as for runners the free shoes wear out sooner as more miles are run. It may have had its purpose it like a lot of things has run it’s course. The simple act of making football coed changes a lot of the wrongs.

LOL.

One female soccer player will not make it a coed sport. LOL... IMHO.
Maybe, the Michigan football team needs to look at a coed player. LOL.
They just loss to Penn State football Team at home. 27 to 17.

Right that’s a secondary issue. But football either men’s or coed should not be counted for Title IX.

Last month Clemson cut their men’s track and cross country teams. William & Mary tried to cut their national class team to throw resources at their below average 1aa football team. Many other examples especially this year. Women’s teams get a free pass even if rosters need to be filled where the only requirement is a heartbeat.
