Things that haven't changed since the coronavirus

We also are receiving our newspapers and I agree Makai Guy with all those cable stations , there is nothing to watch on the television.

We don't watch American shows. Almost everything we watch is from Acorn. Non-US TV series are so much better than US shows. We just finished Brokenwood (New Zealand detective series) - very good series. We love Murdoch Mysteries (Canadian) - they are into Season 13 and still going on. Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch - British), Doc Martin (British) etc etc...

We still get whatever Amazon deliveries we can as well as from others, even if slower- but some are still very fast. We still get mail. We still can take walks. We still can shop at grocery, drugstores, dollar stores, hardware and liquor stores. I was able to get my haircut. We can get gas and prices are low but we can't go anywhere! Lots of construction still going on in our development.

Nail and hair salons are closed here as well. Just started this week. Good thing dh and I both got in last week. Dd is out of luck, her appointment was supposed to be Friday.

My next one is scheduled in 3 weeks, doubt it will be happening. Once they all open again it will probably take many weeks to get an appointment.

Now might be the time to see what my totally natural hair color is and to let my curls comes back and see if my hair still falls out when curly. I think no to the color, box dye once again, curly actually no choice, it is half way there already so good time to see.

I've heard we're three weeks away from knowing everyone's real hair color.

Things that won’t change -

J-Lo is still a hot 50 year old (in 3 weeks)- no matter what her true hair colour is ( in 3 weeks )

Tuggers are staying six feet away from one another as suggestive by the authorities. LOL.

I still can't get a reservation at any of the HGVC SW Florida affiliates such as Marco Island and Sanibel Island!!! :D

This is a bit of an inside joke. For non-HGVC owners, these are very hard to come by even in normal times and now they are closed.

There is a lot of availability in RCI for San Francisco right now. Some of it even out to the end of the year.

I know iam starting to look like a hippie.Yikes.

I can still sleep at night. In fact, sleeping is my only escape from the constant anxiety I am feeling. I am not anxious about getting sick. I am really anxious about how this will change daily life and when we will get to return to our lives. I am anxious about the impact on my small business and what I will be doing about it. I am anxious about where I live. We were going to move right when this started and now we are back to the drawing board but a lot poorer since we lost our deposit. I am also anxious about whether big companies will be having layoffs and if my DH's job will be secure. I wake up every morning with anxiety in my chest. I much prefer to be asleep. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I am happy when it is dark because I know I can fall back asleep and let go of my worries until the morning.
