We may want to add few days at Sheraton Kaua'i later this year. We are short on SO and we may have to go with a 1 bdr vs a 2 bedroom. We are 2 adults and 2 pre-teen kids. On the description of the 1 bdr though it is mentioned 2 adults. It surprises me because there is a king size bed plus a sofa bed so it should be ok for the kids. Does anyone know if we will have a problem to check in?

Interesting, no sofa bed lines on the image and what do the ** footnote to?

Had similar thoughts at Marriott Newport Villas. Room for 8 but max occupancy 6. But bedding for 8.

Search for Ken555's post on the topic. He also provided pictures of the unit. It was incredibly small, and I personally wouldn't want to squeeze 4 in the unit.

So, the 1BR can fit 4 people but max occupancy is only set to 2 adults. My wife, 19 year-old and I stayed there last June, and the sofa bed was sufficient for my daughter. However, eating was a challenge since there is seating for 2 only. Note that we didn't declare that we had 3 people

Oh, you're one of those.
