Well we bit the bullet today and bought an add on contract from Aulani. We’re on vacation in Hawaii and got an amazing deal so I actually added 150 points instead of the 75 point minimum. Got it for $161/point thanks to the incentives being offered here in Hawaii for owners. With young kids I’m sure we’ll make up the difference with annual passes eventually.

On a side note, what a gorgeous resort. I think I may like it more than HHV. Looking forward to our first trip there in a couple of years. Until then I’ll just rent my points and recoup some of my money.

Yes. That’s the deal I got. It brings 150 points down to $161.33/point. Plus it’s 154 points/week in a studio during March break so I figured that was a good point amount to have.
 
Congratulations! WE had been to the Marriott down the beach a few times. Once Aulani opened, its hard not to stay there... it is spectacular!
 
Aulani is a beautiful resort with more Hawaiian feel that anywhere else in all of Hawaii. It is consistently rated the best in reviews of where to stay. I love it at Aulani and we do not have kids. I have stayed in many luxury resorts on the Hawaiian Islands and I like Aulani the best.
