I have both Wyndham and WorldMark accounts. I have one of my WorldMark accounts setup with II as the exchange company. Then obviously my Wyndham comes with the free weeks RCI account. My questions are:

If I buy an RCI points TS, with allocated RCI points, can I also add my WorldMark to that account since WM only trades as weeks. I know you supposedly get a weeks and a points account when you have a points account, but not sure since WorldMark and RCI are both controlled by Wyndham if they will not allow this since your access is normally a portal in Worldmark the club site.

Do RCI resort rules such as 1 in 4 apply only to the RCI account or the actual person. Since I'll end up with the RCI weeks account from Wyndham ownership and another points account from another TS, just curios if the limits are per account or person.

Thanks,
Steve

I am wondering the same thing...i have an RCI points account through Wyndham and have purchased a fixed week at a private, non-Wyndham RCI resort.

Can I deposit my fixed week into RCI (through my Wyndham account)? Or how does all this work?

Great question!

To have your WorldMark also associated with RCI, you will have to pay for another RCI membership and link it to WM. Your Wyndham-provided RCI weeks account can't be linked to WM, AFAIK.

Unless you REALLY want to be able to use WM credits in RCI, I would think this redundant to your Wyndham RCI account.

You ask about linking in an RCI Points timeshare, but AFAIK, this is not compatible with the RCI Weeks account provided as part of your Club Wyndham fees; I think the WM implementation has a similar issue, though I am not 100% sure of this.

I have not associated my WM with any exchange companies yet, but whenever I do, I would opt only for II as a complement to my Club Wyndham RCI access.

With respect to the 1 in 4 rules, I would guess that the restriction is applied by RCI member number. You should call in to RCI to discuss the specific situation you have in mind.

Buckor,

I don't believe you can add anything other than Wyndham to the RCI account they provide as part of your club program fee..

you can deposit weeks (non wyndham and/or wyndham weeks) to the Wyndham provided RCI account if you log into RCI at RCI.com.

Chris,

I am not specifically needing to add my WorldMark to RCI, that is why I currently have II as my exchange company, But I am adding an RCI Points account from Grandview in Vegas to my TS collection. Since I will be getting a points account once this completes, I was wanting to know if I could also add my WorldMark to that account. I don't need to but thought, it would be worth while if I didn't have to pay for another membership.

Ron, how do you get your login from RCI to be able to log in via the RCI website?

I don't know that you can add the Worldmark but since you are eligible for a free weeks account with the RCI points you could certainly try to add the Worldmark and see if they allow you to.

Ron I figured it out, I never realized I could create a separate login for my weeks account. Just another thing I have learned from one of your posts. Thanks :)
