I rescinded a developer purchase on the 6th day of the 10 day period and the verbiage states... "...rescind send date to be before the 10th day.." I sent the letter USPS delivery confirmation and the tracking history states it's delayed and waiting to be delivered.

Can anyone comment of the legal process/steps to consider if things go south and for whatever reason the letter gets returned - the agreement address was a PO Box.

Thanks

State law (...not developer kindness or benevolence) provides you with the right to rescind. If you met the time deadline for the state of your purchase and sent your rescission letter to the correct address and it is successfully delivered, nothing can or will "go south".

Developer sales weasels lie, exaggerate and obfuscate to make the sale, but no developer (not even slimy Westgate) has the arrogance to openly defy state law.

Relax and let the law work for you. Do not call the developer to "follow up", do not answer any incoming calls from the developer --- and do not expect any "confirmation" correspondence; the developer is under no obligation to do anything more than cancel the contract and issue 100% refund within 45 days. Period.
