Using my first II AC. I am used to regular exchange when the confirmation comes very quickly. How long does it take to get the AC confirmation?
I have a stay in less than a week. Figured AC would confirm quicker since there is no exchange.

Thanks

You should receive an immediate online confirmation. Did you go all the way to the end of the process, and pay the exchange fee?

I got the email saying I had done the exchange and payed the fee, but have not received the actual exchange confirmation with confirmation # of unit. And when I look at history it still says "pending confirmation."

The final confirmation could take a few days.

It might be a good idea to call II in this situation because not all AC's are instant. One situation is when the AC itself could be reversed and taken back. For example someone can make a deposit that qualifies for an AC and then receive that AC before that deposit is even confirmed. I experienced this when I deposited two sides of a lock-off without realizing that I could not deposit that resort yet due to timing. I received two AC's that were later removed from my account.

Not sure if this scenario is your issue or not. It depends on how and when you received the AC. I believe I have experienced other cases where there was a little lag in the confirm but it wasn't very long.

Actually on the tail end of the AC, deposit long ago used. I give it a day then call.

I have been told by Interval agents that AC's take about 24 hours to go from pending to confirmed. After this time the website then should then say confirmed and a confirmation should be emailed. This is supposedly due to fact you have 24 hours to cancel a AC. During this time, you can interval and either cancel or you can have them override the pending status to confirm the exchange instantly.

Good point. I looked at the last AC I used and I did the exchange at 10:54 am and the certificate was not emailed until 3:52 pm the following day. More than 24 hours later for the final confirm.
