Is there such a thing as a 1bed/1bath at MOC, or are they all 1/2?

Looking at one for sale and it says 1/1, but I didn't think that was an option.

Also, can anyone verify if MOC float can book week 51 (if available). I know week 52 is an event week, but wondering if week 51 is as well like WKORV

Could it be in Lahaina and Napili? There are 1BR 1BA units in the new towers. But I don't know if they ever sold them as such. I think they were all sold as 2RB and 3BR units. Probably just bad info in the listing.

Looking at the resort calendar for the original section at Maui Ocean Club, it looks like it floats week 51.

No, MOC only has 1/2's, and the new towers only sold 2BR (and 3BR) units.

I do not know the Week 51 answer.

I still want to know about the platinum deeded week, though. It says 1-51, but more than one listing says christmas not available. I emailed one seller, and they said they never tried, but were told they cannot book christmas or new years

You can book week 51 with a floating week at MOC. It was available when I booked for September, and since I was already chatting with Marriott when I saw this thread, I asked them myself to confirm. I believe that Marriott owns week 53 entirely (on years where there is a week 53, like 2016).

The one bd units at MOC are just two converted hotel rooms put together. One room being remodeled into a kitchen - living room; the other remains a bedroom. So since the hotel rooms each had a bath, each room in the 1 bd has a bath. Therefore 1 bd 2 bath.

MOC may have sold some weeks early on as weeks 1-51, but when I bought a week in the old towers in 2006 (since sold), it was for weeks 1-50. So it is important to see the actual deed for the unit you are buying and verify it with Marriott.

I am not sure if the deed would tell if it floats 1-51 or 1-50. I think the only way to determine would be on the estopel or the original contract, if the seller had it. I don't even know if the estopel would tell unless specifically asked of Marriott.

My 1BR deed doesn't show "floating weeks 1-51", but it was confirmed directly via Marriott. My estoppel didn't show it, though it was in my contract at the time of purchase.
