I have 2 timeshare contracts which are both fully paid for, one in punta cana and the other in Cancun. Both are melia vacation club paradisus properties.

How can I dispose of these 2 timeshare contracts. I don't seem to had any luck trying to sell them so can someone willing to take them off my hands for just the transfer fee?

current maintenance are
punta cana 38,000 points 1 bed suite $830/yr
cancun 27,000 points 1 bed suite $630 /every other year.

many thanks

Neil

We have a forum for giving away timeshares and I moved your post there.

A gentle suggestion: You want to write a nice Ad that tells all about the timeshares you are giving away, and paints a positive (but honest) picture.

What are the transfer fees?

... and a good suggestion it is. OP should also precisely identify the expiration years of the respective RTU contracts, since that will strongly influence recipient interest. Folks will be more interested in a contract with only 3-5 years (instead of 20-25 years) remaining, knowing that the "guaranteed exit ramp" is actually within sight.

I don't seem to had any luck trying to sell them...

What efforts have you made to try to sell them? Or, what avenues have you gone down to try to sell them? Was it any of those upfront fee scams that phone owners promising a big payday for their timeshare only to take the owners' money and then do nothing (except laugh all the way to the bank)?

As has been suggested, try the Bargain Deals forum.

I gave my week to Big Frank a few years back. Not sure if he's enjoyed it but why don't you contact him via that other site?

[Removed: The Bargain Deals forum is for free or nearly free timeshares. Yours does not qualify since you are asking a significant amount of money. No offense, but you are very unlikely to sell this timeshare for what you are asking. To find a new home for it, you will probably have to give it away. If you wish to give it away, you should start a new thread, with all the details, and an appropriate subject line.]
