Anyone stay there recently? Curious if they've improved their wifi bandwidth problem. Would help to know what you use the wifi for, i.e. streaming vs. web surfing.

I just returned about a week ago. The wifi was much much better! When used it to steam netflix in the room. And by the way, good thing it did work because the tv channels are terrible now. The changed the carrier and the vast majority of the channels are in Spanish now. Yes, I know, it's Mexico, blah blah blah, but a large amount of Americans visit the Royals so the change is a problem in my opinion. And yes, I also know we don't go there to watch tv, but for some of us, my group included,we don't go out partying every night, and it is nice to be able to watch something before going to bed.

I can second the TV comment. In the past many channels were English programming with Spanish subtitles, this is no longer the case. But the most unusual thing we noted, we started watching a program in the living room and went into the master to finish watching, but that channel was not available in the master bedroom, only the living room. Crazy!

Some people told us about a thing called Sling Box that you can sync to your cable at home and connect it to your TV in the villa and watch all the programming from your cable at home. TV wouldn't be such an issue, but the mosquitos were so vicious this year, you couldn't be outside the villa after sundown.
