Waaaa I want a f**** pie

I think it's just sad. Boy behaves badly so man behaves badly in response. Pathetic, ugly, rude, mean.

What lesson did the boy learn? That adults can behave like toddlers?

What if someone else in line wanted a pie?

The mother should gave just turned around and left the Burger King, telling the bratty spoiled foul mouth kid he isn't getting anything. That would have been the correct thing to do. If it was my kid, I would be totally embarrassed.

And what about the other people in the Burger King that had to listen to that crap. I wouldn't have purchased the pies, which didn't teach the bratty kid anything, I would have spoken up, like I usually do when parents refuse to control their kids. Kids need to be taught how to behave in public.

I wouldn't have bought all the pies, but I'm all good with what the man did. And that the kid spoke like that to his mom, in public no less, is very telling of how the boy is being raised at home.

I love it!! He wasn't making a statement to the kid, the statement was to the MOTHER. She was raising a brat!

DH said when he was a kid and his dad took him to a Yankees game, he was whining "I wanna hot dog, I wanna hot dog, I wanna hot dog" and his dad said no and then ignored him. The guy in back of them bought one and said "here kid, here's your damn hot dog". DH was happy, but didn't learn a good lesson.

We as parents tend to block out our children's complaints at times, but this woman was over the line by leaving the rest of the patrons to suffer his bad attitude. I say kudos to the man who bought the pies! I would not have been bold enough to do that but hopefully the woman learns from this incident and rethinks her parenting.

Looks more like a modern day urban legend to me. Fun story. Something many of us would like to do in different situations at different times. Maybe it happened or maybe it's like all those creative writing stories that use to be in Penthouse forums.

If it were me, I would have waited until the mother and kid left the shop then give all the pies away to all the remaining customers in the shop.

Better yet, while the mother and kid were there, hand all the pies away to everyone else!

TUG should have a thumbs Up/Down button

Double thumbs up!!

But then you would have someone take pity on the kid and give him one of the pies.

I've gone to McDonald's and bought all the pies....But there were no bratty kids in line behind me...

You know the kid got to the counter and said this ...

What this kid needs is a good spanking!! unfortunately kids these days are wise to the fact that parents are afraid of being reported to cps or being arrested for disciplining their kids.

Am I missing something here?

All I saw in the video is some guy from some hack gossip tv show explaining to us about some incident that supposedly happened. Then, bunch of folks piling on about how bratty the kid was. No video of the bratty, out of control kid. Was he/she really bratty and out of control, or was it blown out of proportion? I have no idea because I wasn't there, and neither was anyone on this board.

I certainly have seen GROWNUPS behave in such a way too. How do we know this kid wasn't "special needs"? I know my autistic nephew, while never bratty, had very specific eating habits, and only ate very specific foods, in very specific times/manners.

Maybe the kid WAS a brat, maybe not. Sounds like the guy was an @$$hair.

...Sounds like the guy was an @$$hair.

Yes, the kid (guy) was an "@$$hair".

If the kid was a special needs child, the mother has personal experience in handling his issues. Nevertheless, the situation was unacceptable behavior, most importantly THE MOTHER for letting it continue. Moving the kid outside and having a "chat" would be one approach.

Children who talk this way in public, learned it at home from their parents. The parent may not have thought it was anything unusual if this is the way the family acts at home. When I was teaching teenage parents, I heard children in diapers talk like this...
