Looking to purchase for Wyndham Bentley Brook - Need Help..

Hi all - I'm currently an owner from Starwood, but want to switch to use a week or two at Bentley Brook, MA. What is the best way to get a prime week in the winter (Xmas or Pres. week), and one week in the summer ? How many points are needed for those times? Can you really book a "Prime week" or is it impossible to get those times? Any downsides to buying resale ?

Wyndham will not disclose, at this point if there is availability or not for Christmas and Presidents day for Bentley Brook for 2015. I would assume so but with Club Wyndham Pass who knows. The ARP period for 2015 has not begun yet, so if it not destine to flip to Club Wyndham Pass you should be good to go for 2015. Christmas 2014, maybe a Bentley Brook owner can help out. Wyndham is not saying.

Talked with Wyndham again. Bently Brook is not going to go into the Club Wyndham Pass program.

Apparently, the reps do have a list of the resorts that will go there. He had me wait while he check if Bently Brook was one of the ones going that direction.

Saw both of your posts -- is this a ONE time or forever swap?

It appears to be a deed swap - while I am knowledgeable about Wyndham and its fees, Harborside has some differences - like a bigger transfer fee, MFs bigger, must use a LOCAL LAWYER, StarOptions (mandatory in transfer?) Season of usual ...etc

With Wyndham and perhaps Bentley Brook, it is a points booking except it is OLD enough to also have been sold as Fixed Week units (which would most likely the BEST weeks were never converted and should be looked for IF that is your PRIMARY travel dates).

I own a Converted Fixed Week 52 at Wyndham Shawnee --- gives me either 166,000 Wyndham points or I can reserve and USE the underlying FW date & unit -- just have to claim (by calling the Points reservation number) my Fixed Week during the 13th month before check in. But my non-converted Fixed Week unit, I just show up and use (at those Wyndham resorts).
