Shuttle from St Thomas Airport to Red Hook Ferry

Has anyone used Bazile's or Rachel Brown's transport service recently? Bazile got us to the Red Hook ferry & back quite effectively back in 2010, and I am wondering if he is still in business...or how Rachel's shuttle/taxi service might compare with his. Any info on this (and pricing) would be welcomed.

Bob - there are plenty of taxi-bus service to RedHook from STT. Right outside at the curb - prices are on vinow.com - you do not need a car service unless you have special needs.
We rent a car (pick up at airport) and take car barge - really not as hard as people make it out to be - I find it the easiest method all things considered. YMMV

I understand. I have seen your earlier posts, and i am aware of what you like to do re car rentals. But we will be on St John for 2 weeks, and we don't need a car for the first week, as we will be staying in town (almost) for that week. Hence my interest in transport to Red Hook.

I have used Rachel Brown several times when I had a party of 4 and 5….very nice, very reliable. She is an older woman so we loaded our own bags into the van. You can include a stop at one of the grocery stores/liquor store if you like.

We are staying in STT for two weeks so rented a car for our upcoming trip.

I reserved with her for March 2014. It's $50 for two people one-way. She said she herself might not be the driver, and we should look for our name when we get there.
