Marriott in Aruba

Does anyone know how difficult it is to get an exchange into one of the Marriott's in Aruba in July or August?
 
If you were a tug member, youd be able to see the sightings board, which just yesterday it was posted there are currently weeks available for july and august at the surf club.

Its cheap, supports the site, and gives you a nice benefit.
 
It's an easy trade. That's not high demand time in Aruba. You can even get the weeks on insta trade from time to time. What are you giving up? That obviously makes a difference. Do you have a Marriott?

Actually, it is a busy time, because of school vacations. It's be a lot easier to get a studio or 1 BR than a 2BR; I wouldn't call a 2BR summer week an easy trade.

Nobody mentioned a 2BR. It goes without saying that a 2BR is more difficult. It would be that way for any resort that locks off. It's just not a time period that is "difficult" to get. Summer in HHI for example is on another planet.

With South Florida and the Carribbean, Winter/Early Spring is the highest demand season. That would be the most difficult trade.
 
We own a Ocean Club gold. We have been very successful in using a Barony Beach silver to trade for an Ocean Club week to match up with the week we own so we get two weeks. We usually go around the fourth of July.
 
I traded for 3 units the first week of july with an onoging search at Surf club and got 2 units at ocean club for friends that weree just available on II. It should not be that bad. Put in a ongoing now and you should not have any trouble.
