Does anyone have any experience trading Monarch fixed week 25 (usually July 4th week)

Unless Monarch's calender is different than most week 25 would never cover 4th of July. Week 26 and Week 27 depending on the year and check in dates cover 4th of July.
Regardless Week 25 should trade well but if you have an oceanfront unit you would probably do better renting than exchanging. You also might do well with trying to find a direct exchange. If you have a garden unit you may do better exchanging with II. It all depends on the availability of what you want.
Marriott is not bulk depositing any prime (location and time) weeks other than very last minute.

Monarch's calendar is different than the typical Marriott calendar. Week 25 is July 4th week most times. We have a garden unit, and are curious as to it's trading power based on experience.

That would be a very strange calendar. In 2012 the actual 25th week of the year (1/1 was on Sunday) was June 17 thru June 23.
Most calendars would use the check-in weekend of June 22-24 as week 25, which would end up covering actual week 26. To say week 25 is July 4 would be going forward two weeks instead of one. Not sure how it gets there.
EDIT: Indeed it does. Monarch's calendar has week 1 2013 beginning on Jan 12. Interesting.

A beachfront SC resort over 4th of July should have about the highest trading power within Marriott. But even past experiences wouldn't account for what will be available in II for 2013, 2014, or 2015. You should have a very good chance of being at the top of the list for the best of what is available in II minus any resort specific internal trade preference or system preference outside of Marriott.

Agreed. July 4 on HHI....it doesn't get much higher demand than that.

To maximize trading power I'd wait until 2014 and request your trades 12 months out as maxing the trading window will increase your trading power and I would think get almost anything you wanted within reason.
Do you think doing a Request First would be best?

Its my understanding that lowers your trading power but many do the request first because they want to make sure they receive the week they want.
Not knowing what you want I'm not sure what would work best but I do believe you will have quite alot of trade power at 12 months either way.
