2 Bedroom – Lockout –
Sleeps 6 comfortably Large two bedroom (1 king size bed, 2 double beds, and a sleeper sofa) with loft unit (washer and dryer in unit).

The "lock-out" feature allows a large timeshare unit to be split into smaller sized units in order to use the property in a variety of ways.

For example, a 2 bedroom lock-out can be use as either a 2 bedroom or two, 1 bedroom units. Also, when exchanging a lock-out with an exchange company like RCI or Interval, the exchange company will give 2 weeks exchange for your one week lock-out unit.

Maintenance Fees for 2013 $674 (ALREADY PAID) I have not made reservations yet for this year so when it is purchased the purchaser will be able to make reservations.

At Plantation Resort, you are not confined to one specific week during the summer for your vacation.
These units have a "deeded" week, but you can use this week anytime from Week 22-38.

Possibly the owner of the timeshare is looking for someone that is familiar with timeshares and didn't want to have to keep responding to emails and questions. The OP hasn't posted that the timeshare is no longer available. Things don't always work out between two people for whatever reason. Maybe "changed her mind" meant she was cutting you loose.

Look at it this way, if you're really interested in a timeshare ownership and a timeshare at this particular resort, you've put in the hours of research and asked countless questions. Now, you know more than you did and you'll be more ready for the next freebie or bargain deal that comes along. More knowledge isn't a bad thing. That glass is half full, not half empty. Best wishes on finding your timeshare deal. It's out there I'm sure.

Not saying that you shouldn't ask countless questions. Better to ask the questions and be sure about what you're getting into than be stuck with something that doesn't work for you. Sometimes folks don't ask enough questions.
