I noticed in the Resort Directory when referencing points to this resort it was based on a specific tower. I just grabbed a reservation here, but it just told me 3br Ocean Front Lower. How am I suppose to know which tower that is? Thanks everybody!

If it is Ocean Front, you are in Tower 1, 2, or 3. Tower 4 is across the street. Depending when the reservation is for, it is unlikely that a specific room assignment has been made. If you call the front desk, and it has been over 48 hours since you made the reservation, the front desk should be able to tell you which tower you are in.

Thanks RR. Have you ever been there? Is it a good idea to try and request a certain building?

You do not have to worry about being in tower 4 across the street unless you booked a reservation for the least amount of points. The units in tower 4 require much less points than the units on the beach side. With that said, I happen to like tower 4 a lot. It sure would be nice to be on the ocean, but I was very happy with the ocean view I had two summers ago from a 2 bedroom in tower 4 and I though the walk to the ocean was very easy and short.

While I have not stayed in towers 1-3, I have read those rooms are smaller than the rooms in tower 4, though there are presidential units in towers 1-3, so those units would be nicer and bigger.

If memory serves me right, if you do not have a direct ocean front room in towers 1-3, you will probably have a balcony overlooking the pool area. This is nice, but it gets very windy by the pools and there is no sun for most of the day.

Yes, I have stayed on the Beach side towers. In a family re-reunion, I had relatives that I visited in Tower 4. I will stay silent on what my impressions of the facilities are. I will leave it be with a strong recommendation to stay at SeaWatch Plantation, if kids are present, and Westwinds if no kids. Have a great stay at any of the Wyndham facilities in Myrtle Beach.

I'm actually here right now, we're in Tower 4 and it's fine, it's got nice rooms, and while it's not an ocean front view, you can see the ocean around the buildings, you've got a nice night time view of the Ocean Drive below, lights up very nice at night, and it's a quick walk over to the ocean(3-5 minutes). I would confirm everything jdunn1 said about the place. We're here without kids, in a 2 BR on the 12th floor, plenty of room for us, and I would feel comfortable having my 4 kids here ages 1-7 with me as well.

If you calculate the amount of points you are spending each night
for sun-thurs & fri-sat. Then look at the points chart you can figure out which tower you will be staying in.
