Has anyone heard of this company? The BBB website states they have existed since 2001, but are not part of BBB, and have one complaint against them.

There are so many scammers in the timeshare world that in order to succeed the legit companies need be miles above the rest just in order to stand out as legit. There needs to be ZERO red flags or discrepancies in order to be able to do business with them. Is that THIS company?

  1. Cold calls
  2. Asking for money upfront
  3. Very little internet presence
  4. New to BBB and already a complaint
  5. No evidence that they are at their physical address. They don't even list a suite number at their website which they SHOULD if they had an office there.
  6. Their "local landline" is an internet number (VoIP number, common for scammers since they never really reside where they say they do)
  7. There is NO business entity in the state of MA for Worldwide Management Group
Seems like a lot of discrepancies to me.

Thank you

Hello RX8 and Rent-Share,

WorldWide Management Group called me yesterday and offered to buy my timeshare, they claim to pay me, then I would pay them a 5% commission fee.

I too looked into their address, and you know on Google Satellite you can see the building. It doesn't have a sign with the company's name on the outside of the building, then I wondered why they didn't provide a suite number. This is why I joined TUG and thought I should ask. Now I know I should avoid them.

Thank you for your help. It was very helpful

Go ahead and post their address, It will help future inquirers land here in the event they search for information before sending money

Worldwide Management Resale Proposal

We also are getting calls from Worldwide Management. They sent out a proposal that listed their address at 312 Stuart Street, Boston, MA 02116. A Google map search does not show them as tenants at this address.

Funny thing is we received a call from Ashbrook Management (3350 Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta, GA) a couple of weeks earlier. They sent an identical proposal except the logo, address, and names were different. They both claim no upfront fees but then they claim they are putting the property into a (fake) escrow company and they then request transfer fees and escrow costs.

I wonder how many of these scammers are out there. We should make a list of all the names.

They change names, phone numbers , addresses, bank accounts, etc. faster than you can change clothes.

Just look at their modus operandi!

Bottom line is you have to give them money upfront at some point!

If they will let you escow all funds with YOUR closing/title company, go for it!

Really about that simple!

IMHO

Tell them you will pay them twice what they are asking if they take it out of the proceeds, stand back and listen to the reasons they can't do that.

These companies are not registered or licensed, and they are working under a number of names, which they change like a revolving door. When the heat get to high under one name, they just drop it and move on to another.
