I just wanted to post a quick note to say that I'm a very happy HGVC owner. I've been in the system now for about three years and have found the following benefits to ownership in the Hilton system:

* Really nice resorts. We've visited several now--Hilton Hawaiian Village, Bay Club, Hilton Waikoloa, West 57th in New York, and Hilton Las Vegas Strip. The quality is excellent and consistently good.

* A great reservations system. As an owner in the Starwood system as well, I really appreciate the simplicity of the HGV Revolution system. It's a winner!

* Flexibility of the points system. Last September, using HGV Club points, I was able to land a week at a highly-rated timeshare location in La Ciuffenna, Italy in the Tuscan countryside. We leave in a week, and we've linked hotel nights to Rome and Milan on the front and back ends of this trip as well as a sidetrip to Florence. In addition, I was able to give my son and daughter-in-law their honeymoon through points used for their vacation in the Caribbean.

*The Bay Club renovation is just outstanding. Bay Club is my home resort within the HGV Club, and it's a winner. The units are huge and, now that they've been updated and the grounds have been modernized, it's a really beautiful resort that's being very well-managed.

All in all, I feel I'm getting great value from my membership in HGVC!

Great post

Thanks for the post. It is great fun to read posts like this in a world of frustrated timeshare owners becoming victims to post card companies and shady developers.

I am very pleased with my HGVC memberships also.

OP, how is Walnut business?

I agree -- HGVC is a terrific system, providing the resort quality that I love about my Marriotts with the reservations flexibility that is terrific about Worldmark. It really is the best of both (for me) because we are focused on Hawaii.

I am so pleased to have purchased the first one in 2010 and now have a second one!

Thanks for posting this!

Best,

Greg

The walnut business is good. Maybe even very good. But please don't tell anybody. We don't need anyone else planting more of them! ;)

Is there a walnut business?

Happy owner too

I am also a satisfied customer of HGVC, I do travel a lot from Japan and the points flexibility allows me to always stay in nice resort or hotel.

I often receive a room upgrade.

I like Marriott too, but for non US citizen, the Marriott point system is not available.

Have a great day
