I currently own a consolidated resorts timeshare that I use to trade with interval international. My question is if I purchased a starwood timeshare would I be able to use the same account?

Thanks, Andy

If you purchased resale at a voluntary resort you could use your current account. If you buy resale at a mandatory Starwood VN club you would get a corporate account as part of your club fees. Check the Starwood owners resources if you are not sure which are voluntary and which are mandatory.

Thank you and from reading the starwood owner resources.....SDO is a voluntary resort so I'd be able to use my existing membership correct?

I think I read there's a charge to add another timeshare to the interval account, does anyone know what this charge is?

Thanks

It was $39 for a long time - not sure if it has gone up. II will waive the fee if you extend your membership. You could also just try telling Starwood to deposit your week (assign your week - whatever they're calling it these days) to account XXXX. I got a new week added once by doing that, but Starwood already had my II account in their files so that may have helped. I didn't even think about the fact that the week wasn't registered to II ... Just made my usual call and voila, it was deposited.
