I tried to find comments on this but couldn't. We have 50 Plus Points remaining from the 800 we received for enrolling our week. They expire in February. If memory serves me correctly, we cannot rent or transfer them to another enrolled owner. Is that correct?

I think there was a post last week about this very same issue. No, you cannot transfer the bonus points. Best you can do is make a reservation for someone else, but with only 50 points, that is probably not an option.

That was me. I have 275 left. I could spend 175 and drive to Fairway Villas for one night - today or tomorrow (those are Sun-Thurs. point rates) and will GLADLY give them away today to anyone who can use them. Send me a private message, so I will get notification.

If not wrong, you can use them to buy Travel Insurance. Maybe this is a good option for you.

Boy do I wish I had seen this a day or two earlier....that is EXACTLY how many I need to complete my reservation! I have 800 plus points I am trying to use, but need 1075....oh well....timing is everything!

Thanks for the generosity anyway!

Thanks all. I also spoke with a VOA who confirmed that you can't transfer the plus points we received for enrolling a week. I didn't ask about other options since I only have 50 points left. Not a big issue in this case as we enjoyed a very nice weekend in Tahoe this summer with the other 750 points.

If you could find someone that wants them they could always transfer points to you that you could combine with your 50 to make a reservation in their name. If someone was 50 points short for a single nights stay, then it may work. You would have to probably give them away to make this work. It is a long shot and probably more trouble than it is worth for you and the other person.
