I have to ask this question. I look thru TUG maybe once a month, ask a question about certain TS's and always check the Marketplace. Now keeping in mind that it is microchipped into out brains that we do not pay full price would anyone actually pay this. There is a Bliss unit winter week for sale in the marketplace for 101,000 dollars. What's your opinion.

While the GB is very nice, 100K:ignore: :hysterical:
Retail at the resort isn't that much, someone has it in there head that this has gained value since they bought.

In any set of Classified ads, sellers are free to ask whatever they want for the goods they are selling. Buyers are free to move on to the next ad. In the above example, it seems that the OP somehow links TUG with the seller. The fact that his ad is listed in the TUG Marketplace doesn't mean TUG sanctions the pricing or even suggests a value. I didn't look at the ad. Was Sally13 the seller? :)

Once owned these: FirstFairway@Walden X 2; Lawai Beach; ManhattanClub; PuebloBonitoRose; 4 South Africa--now timeshare-free
I looked at the ad and it says the price is $101,725 FIRM! Amazing. I think the owner of this timeshare is going to own it for a long, long time.

for those that dont know, a new TUG member is indeed presented with a link to the how to sell article no less than 4 times before they even get to the point of posting an ad. Its even in the ad posting guidelines you have to agree to before posting.

For some, enlightenment is a very slow and painful process.

You're baaaaaddddd, Jim

I recall a GB supporter - no names ;) - who used to post on TUG - and who might consider that a fair price and BUY at that price - depending of course on the amenities included ;)

I would be glad to buy your timeshare for that amount of money, as long as you send me $3,000 upfront to cover the closing costs, taxes, escrow fees, title search, and other bogus fees. I will have you wire the money to my bank in Mexico. :D
