Got back from Daytona Beach Saturday and got good news from II, we got our trade. We put our Cypress Harbour in to trade for BeachPlace Towers in Fort Lauderdale.

We've never been there before, only driven by. So we will go there for a week, then a week at Ocean Pointe. Our check-out day at the Towers is our check-in day at Ocean Pointe. All of this takes place in June '12.:cheer:

We just returned from a week at Ocean Pointe, which was our first time there. Very nice resort. We were in Sailfish, which has been updated. Enjoyed the feel of the property- lots of space, palm trees and access to the beach. We would stay there again if we want to visit the area.

We also visited Beachplace Towers. We could only see the lock-off side of a unit, which was pretty standard. Nicely kept. This resort provides a very different environment from Ocean Pointe. The pool area was nice, but the property is much smaller. Very easy access to the beach across the street. Also noted that you have to pay for parking.

I am going to Ocean Pointe for x-mas week (only 3 weeks left!) and going to BeachPlace next year's Thanksgiving week.
Have heard so many nice words about them, and cannot wait to visit them!
Back to back weeks trip would be great!

That's great. I noticed that there was a large summertime bulk deposit of BeachPlace Towers units a few days ago.
 
You'll enjoy both for different reasons. OP will be a good place to rest up from all the activities available within walking distance at BP. :)

Thanks for the replies, to say we're excited would be an understatement.

We've done several back to back weeks. Once I remember going to Cypress Harbour, then to South Beach for a week. We still joke about the fact our mini van we had at the time was the only one we saw there.

Another time we went to Cypress Harbour, then to the Keys for a week. We live in Florida and it was definitely hot in the Keys, but we'll be going back in the next few years.

We were at Beachplace over Thanksgiving and really enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It was nice being able to walk out of the timeshare and walk for a few miles along A1A. Enjoy!
