Hi everyone. Are the two bedroom penthouse units worth the extra points at Ocean Walk. I was looking on-line for pictures but I can't find any, or a room layout. I own WM points and can exchange into Ocean Walk. Also, what are the three bedroom units like? Thanks.

I am not aware that there are any 2 bedroom penthouse units.

3 bedroom units are ocean front.

There are no 2 BR penthouses on the Wyndham side. Perhaps on the Worldmark side, don't know.

However I do think there are a one or two of the oceanview 2 BRs up there on the top floor of the north tower where the 4 BR penthouses ares.

Don't know if that inventory is Wyndham or Worldmark.

If the worldmark site is showing 2 BR penthouse units perhaps than they are in Worldmark's inventory. The do remember looking at a 2 BR corner unit.

Units 2521 to 2527 are Oceanfront units. Units 2520, 2528, 2530, 2532 are oceanview units. Units 2529, 2531 and 2533 are parkinglot and city views. There are three 4 BR penthouses that run across the 2521 to 2527 spaces, but I do not know there exact unit numbers. One used to be a model suites, so I do not know if that one is available for booking or not. I thought that 2527 was a 2BR unit but I don't have it in my notes, it is however a corner unit on the north oceanfront corner.

Hi Sandy. Thanks for the GREAT information. Yes, WM does own two 2 bedroom penthouse units. Thing is, I have no idea other than top floor view, what sets the penthouse units apart from say a delux oceanfront 2 bedroom. The sq ft seems to be the same and I would assume the furnishings are better in the two bedroom but if you remeber what the 2 bedroom penthouse looked like, would you mind sharing?

Just as an FYI, here is what WM owns at Ocean Walk:

WorldMark owns 4 1-bdrm, 14 2-bdrm, 2 2-bdrm penthouse, and 8 3-bdrm units, 28 total units.

As you can see WM, does not own much, but it would be nice to know if the penthouse units are worth the extra points. WM charges more points for the 2 bedroom penthouse than it charges for the 3 bedrooms.

I just stayed at Ocean Boulevard in tower 4 last month. We had a 2 bedroom delux. In looking at the limited pictures I could find of Ocean Walk, the rooms looked almost identical to the rooms at Ocean Boulevard, right dow to the ceiling fans and odd windows overlooking the hallways. Am I right about the rooms being very similar in terms of size and furnishings?

Also, have the rooms at Ocean Walk been refurbished recently. Some pictures show new counters and furniture while many more pictures show formica counters and worn out furnishings? Thanks.

As far as I am aware only the Presidentials have different furnishings. I do think that the rooms of the OB and OW are going to be somewhat similiar.

The rooms with the funny window overlooking the hallway is only found in the 1 BR B units. Note sure if your units are 1 BR As or 1 BR Bs. Avoid Bs as they only have a view of the hallway.

Be careful about what you see in pictures for Ocean walk. You may be seeing pictures from the wholly owned units in the south tower, where furnishings can vary greatly. The lowered numbered units (not sure where the cut off is, but guessing around 7 or 8, so XX8, are the wholly owned condos, that end up in rental pools, but not in exchanges. But if you look at a site like trip advisor you don't know how they got their unit they are reviewing.

Not sure of the renovation schedules. Just the room numbers.

If you are interested in views but not height, than stick to the rooms numbers XX21 to XX27. There are some 1, 2 and 3 BRs in these number range.

Or try for XX20 or XX28 for oceanview NOT oceanfront.
