First, thank you very much for your advices for my previous question.
Now I am trying to combine the old one (20000 credits, november anniversary) and the new one (6000 credits, February anniversary). I will get another 6000 credits for the new account on Feb. 2011.
If I combine those two accounts now, I don't get new 6000 credits on Feb. 2011? Instead, do I get 26000 credits on Nov. 2011?
If so, maybe combining them on October 2011 (after I get 6000 credits on Feb. 2011) would be better for me?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Why not wait until after the February points are awarded and then combine?

Does anyone know if you'd then get 26,000 in November? That would be awesome!

This the part I am NOT sure...
If I get 6000 new credits on Feb. and combine them on March and get 26000 credits on Nov. 2011, that would be great :)

If you combine the old account into the new one (so that the February anniversary account is what remains),
* And if they can get it done before February, you would get 26,000 on February 1.
* If they can't get the combine done before Feb 1, you will get 6000 in Feb, and not get 26K until Feb 2012.

If you combine the new account (Feb anniversary) into the old one (Nov anniversary),
* Wait until after you get the 6K in Feb. Then if they get the combine done before Nov, you will get 26K in Nov.
* If you combine now instead of waiting after Feb, you won't get the 6K in Feb, but will get 26K in Nov.

They usually can get a combine done in 2 months, if you are on top of it and keep checking on status with them. But sometimes they can't (if you get an incompetent rep, etc).

************************************************
If you purchased the Nov account retail, it should not lose its WM+Affiliates credits (the only use of which is to book old Fairfield and WM South Pacific reservations via the WM network)

even if you combine it into another account. If you purchased it resale, it's a moot point.

Thank you!

Thank you LLW for the explanation!
It seems like adding the old one into new 6000 would be the answer :)
Hope transfer would be done before Feb.
I just called closing co. and explained what I want (add old one into new one), but they didn't understand it well.
Thank you anyway, I will update about this process later (if it is done in time).

One other thing:

During the Combine process, one or both accounts will be frozen (you can't book or do anything with them). Sometimes it's just the account that will be disappearing, sometimes it's both accounts, depending on which rep is doing it.

If the Combine takes 3 months, you may not be able to touch either account during the entire 3 month period. So if there's any booking, depositing, etc. you want to do, you should do them all before you start the Combine. Transfer some credits and tokens out to a friend's account so that you may use her account for any unplanned activity, before you enter the freeze period.

Wouldn't you want to add the new one into the old one? That way you would get an extra 6000 points next year?

But if you add the old one to the new one, you have already gotten 20K credits Nov 1, and will get another 20K Feb 1, provided they can complete the Combine in 2 months. Essentially getting 15K twice.

However, if they can't get it done in 2 months, you would lose approximately 3 months' worth of the 20K (=5K) because the anniversary has changed from Nov to Feb.

It's a gamble.
