Couldn't find anything good on television last night, so I ended up watching Dancing with the Stars. My two year old granddaughter (vote early/vote often) wanted me to dance with her. She wanted me to pick her up, which I did. I started dancing but she wanted to spin. She loves to spin in circles. I tried for awhile but Nana isn't as spry as I used to be. I finally had to set her down. She then tried to land in the splits like she'd seen the ladies do on the television. So cute!

I see there are no new NCIS or Glee episodes tonight so it's DWTS again. Pray I don't break something.
 
And you know the cardinal rule that should govern everything in your life:

"Dance like no one is watching." :)

You must have missed Florence Henderson (70 years old) on the show earlier this season. I thought she was pretty good!

Yes I missed that. I don't watch the show usually. It doesn't interest me to see "stars" I've never heard of and "stars" that have done nothing to merit that status dancing at less than a professional level. It just looks so awkward to me. Yes, they do improve over time but I'd rather watch trained dancers without their amateur counterparts. I'd much rather watch "So You Think You Can Dance" than "Dancing with the Stars." I know I'm in the minority but that is my preference.

I do admire those older women who have appeared on the show and who are in much better shape than I am.

Granddaughter wanted to dance the second night and again last night even though there was no music or dancing on the television. Sadly, this Nana was too pooped to polka.
