I am interested in getting 2 timeshares at this location. I haven't been able to discover much except some unhappy owners due to special assessments (amount of time to pay and amount). Some other complaints but that isnt the resorts fault. The renovation was done 2-3 years ago. I am looking at efficiency units with floating weeks that include the summer. If anyone on here (especially a current owner) good give me some insight as to stay away or not it would be appreciated. There are mixed reviews from a few sites and now I am turning here. Thanks to all who respond.

If you are not familiar with how this resort assigns summer use, you should check it out to make sure it will work for you.

I see lots of Yachtsman on ebay and sumdayvacations. They are only the one bedroom or efficiency units, so I could not use them. check them out. great pricing

My concern with the place is the quality. Know it's not Wyndham but want to make sure it's clean and kept up. I will be renting these out.

I Own see Glass tower next door "Bluegreen" They bought it from the Yachtsman and its a twin of the Yachtsman. We use ther pool and the grounds and location are nice. the rooms are not large but the view is spectacular. I like north Myrle beach better ,but i can tell you that See Glass tower is almost always full holidays and late spring through early September.

I am a current owner and received the property from my father in 2010, we have had this property in our family for over 20 yrs. I was not concerned with the maintenance fee which were around 650 a year and than last year they passed a reinvestment fee's for 2013 ($722), 2014 ($654) and 2015 ($264). I was upset and tried to sell the property without any luck so I went ahead and left the property in my fathers name and pay the fee's. This is the second reinvestment that my parents have been involved with. So I feel I can ride out the next few years and hopefully just pay the maintenance fee's. The fee's have to be paid 30 days in advance to be able to use your unit. We have a sloope unit and its small but there is only 3 of us but I like the location. Good luck on your search and have any more questions please free to ask.
