I log into wyndham, it does access my account as I see my name and info on the landing page. However if I select something else, like a search or upcoming vacations etc, about 50% of the time it logs me out.

Is everyone else getting this too?

Assuming you have tried the old "clear browser cache" as the first line of defense yes? We have seen intermittent reports of this issue to be sure. It seems whatever is causing this behavior is user specific in some way. There were several folks who were experiencing this late last year into early this year - and then after the mid-January update - it stopped for some of those folks - but started occurring for others that weren't previously experiencing the reported issue. As usual, we recommend as troubleshooting steps:

  • Clear browser cache/history/cookies
  • Attempt to reproduce across disparate browsers (Edge, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)
  • Attempt to reproduce across disparate devices
If this issue is reproduced across disparate devices/browsers - this would seem to point toward something account related - since your account is the common denominator across all of the disparate tests. If you can reproduce this issue across disparate browsers/devices - please post back into this thread and we'll see if we can engage with our back channel IT contacts to promote problem-resolution.

I am also having that issue. It's maddening!

It would be interesting to take a poll, who doesn't have issues? After one release I did think it was better for a bit, but it still happens too often, most frequently when I'm first logging in (it can take multiple tries). The best advice I can offer is when you first enter your credentials, and select login, wait a good minute or two - seems like maybe it's a timeout issue - and given extra time the login will complete. But it may not, so I try again. Less frequently now, once I'm logged in, I don't get knocked out. Can't say never, but my issues happen most often on initial login.

I agree with your findings @Sandi Bo - if I stall for 5-10 seconds between clicking in navigating around it does seem to be better. Like if I hold my breath and be more "gentle" it behaves better, LOL.

It can take a good while to login. On chrome, I've noticed the spinner in the login button will spin for a bit, then it stops and the word "Login" comes back BUT the chrome tab is now showing a spinner. After all that stops, things are usually stable for me. I'll usually put in my credentials, hit the button and go do something else for a couple minutes then check back.

In general I've noticed more browser issues on desktop/laptops that are being reported. I am not able to reproduce the issues on my mobile Safari browsers on my iPhone and iPad in comparison (iOS iPad - not the larger iPadOS versions). Not sure if this jives with what others are seeing?

It does for me. I use a Chromebook most of the time. Sometimes a PC using Chrome. I generally don't use my mobile devices for vacation planning since I like to research other aspects of travel at the same time and find it a lot easier on a full size screen (or two screens if I'm using my work machine).

I have the login issues on my Samsung Note9 (I use chrome as my browser). I don't use my cell phone unless I have to (I'm not as fond of the mobile app as you are). I am typically on a Macbook Pro using Chrome. If I use Safari (on my Macbook Pro) the dates are all bolded, so I don't use the Safari so much, lol, that seems to be a newerish issue, I used to be able to switch between without much difference and would sometimes see if one worked better than the other (now Chrome wins)). I get more frustrated on my cell phone than I do my desktop, and you know I hate to complain...

This happens for all resorts.

Using Chrome, this is the accurate display:
