I missed a call from Wyndham Vacations this AM. # 407-583-0218. Probably trying to sell me more points?

Yes. Sales call. Wyndham will usually send snail mail if there is something wrong with your account. The exception being if you called them with a problem. They may call to update you.

A couple years ago I had a phone call from somewhere up in the Pacific Northwest and the guy on the phone said that he was calling from Wyndham Home Office and there was a
problem with my account. Well I knew that Wyndham was headquartered in Florida so I told him to go find another another person to scam. I did call Wyndham the next morning and she did confirm they are in Florida and it was a scam.

Years ago, I applied for a position with Wyndham telemarketing (thankfully I did not get it), yes it is 100% sales. I mean, they are trying to get owners to buy a 4-day 3-night "vacation" which includes a 2-hour presentation similar to the ones all timeshare companies offer on their websites.

Wyndham has long had a phone sales office in Washington State. So it probably was Wyndham, but no one you needed to talk to. (The problem with your account was that he hadn’t sold you any extra points for it yet!)

Got a call yesterday. Wanted to give me this unbelievable deal. Sounded like they were trying to fill in midweek dates to fill in the calendar.
When I asked "is an owner update required"? Yep. No, sorry, goodbye!

A few weeks ago I got a letter from Wyndham offering me points and that I was preapproved for a $15,000 minimum purchase and the interest would be somewhere between 15% and 18%. Pass.
