Wyndham Sidekick Program - Misrepresented by Sales Rep

After 40+ years of T/S ownership, I am no longer "an owner"
No surprise . . . the sales rep told us last week that the Vacation Sidekick Program is free for the first year, and $59/year afterwards. After chasing down the information to join the Vacation Sidekick Program, I learned it is only free if you (1) buy an upgrade to your Wyndham membership (i.e., buy more points) or (2) have VIP status.

So another lie or misrepresentation by a Wyndham sales rep during an "owners' update" . . . this one was at Emerald Grande Destin just last week (11/14/22).
 
... of course the majority of the discounts available through Vacation Sidekick are freely available to anyone that searches the internet looking for them, so you aren't missing much. It may have changed since I first purchased Wyndham and it was under a different name, but I was never able to find anything compelling in the offerings I couldn't already get on my own and stopped looking.
