My wife and I bought a timeshare from Wyndham in 2016 for $16,000. We didn't finance it we just bought it, expecting to use it or the points on a yearly basis. Then Fukushima happened and we decided we didn't want to risk being irradiated. We used the points for several years, but we are into farming and don't use timeshares anymore. Getting Wyndham to exit the contract has been like pulling teeth. They charge maintenance fees for the timeshare every month and will not process an exit if the fees aren't paid. We have diligently pursued the exit and paid the fees for 8 months and as of yet "no joy". The paperwork terminating the ownership was returned in August 2025, but they are still sending bills in October. When asked about the status of the exit, their rep says he can't tell. Wyndham is a terrible customer service company. Calls take hours to connect and then you find you have the "wrong department". The customer service people cannot transfer you between departments without dropping the call so you have to start all over again if you remembered to get the direct dial number. My question is "Is there an agency or group who lets people know how bad companies like CWR screw the public? Club Wyndham is committed to making money and that's all. Terrible company.

There are no Wyndham resorts in Japan (that I’m aware of). Where, specifically, do you own?

Wyndham treats their customers like *bleep* and they do not care to change it for any reason.

Actually, there appears to be CW "resorts" in Japan and other Asian countries under the CW Asia and CW South Pacific organizations under TnL ...

A Google AI response said something like "Club Wyndham Asia ... is a membership points ... until 2040 ... when owners will receive profits from sale ..."
