Hey All!

I'm sure this has been answered a bazillion times; so if there is a sticky or thread - point me in that way and I'll delete this thread. I know WorldMark is out of the question. But I have this brochure of the properties, and my understanding is that I can book the following property types:

Club Wyndham Plus Resorts
Affiliate Resort
Associate Resort
Margaritaville Resorts

But it does NOT include the "Wyndham Club Pass Resorts" (WorldMark) or "Associate Hotels". I am using this brochure and checking them on the Club Wyndham website; and the WorldMark properties don't allow me to even look at availability but rather a text box is there that says "Call for Availability". Here is the brochure: https://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/wyndham/plus_membersdirectory1819/index.php#/p/M1

Yes, except Margaritaville resorts are not at the 10 month mark but rather the 6 month mark. Affiliate and associate can be hit or miss on inventory availability depending on property. Best to assume you have all Club Wyndham at 10 months and the rest is a bonus.

You are right, Resale has NO club pass access, so NO WM access. However a few WM have a separate inventory block within Wyndham. So you have access to some dual listed resorts.

Yes, You are correct, and you have a link to the owner's directory. Points are points at 10 months before the reservation and you can reserve earlier at the resort you own.

There will be limited availability at the Associate Resorts/Hotels and Affiliate Reosrts (sometimes only a unit or two per week) they ARE available if you book early, but really are just dots on the map!

Margaritaville is not available at all locations for non-Margaritaville owners. The booking window is later on these resorts. There is a page or two in the directory about them.

Just keep in mind if you want full access to Wyndham without buying retail, you need both Club Wyndham and Worldmark points. The good Worldmark properties book up at the 13 month mark anyways, so if you ever want to stay at WM properties, you need to own WM resale. A Club Wyndham retail account does have access to the WM properties, but not at the 13 month mark when the good ones are completely booked.

Also, Wyndham Anaheim inventory is about 90% WorldMark and 10% Club Wyndham, so if you want to use Wyndham to visit Disneyland, you are going to want Worldmark points. I highly doubt the Grand Californian and upcoming Disneyland DVC resorts will be bookable at 7 months, so IF you want to stay in Anaheim at the nice resort (Dolphin Cove isn't very nice), you need WM points to do so. The Anaheim Presidential units (through Worldmark) are BEAUTIFUL and only a 10 min walk to Disneyland.

I've had some luck with Grand Californian through my DVC resale. But I mostly travel off season anyway; and I only ever would stay at Disneyland for a night or two - so easy to snag that inventory if I'm not picky. Great property. I have an upcoming stay there actually (likely to get covid cancelled), but I am definitely looking forward to the new DVC wing at Disneyland Hotel.

We found Dolphin Cove charming. Older, but our unit was pretty standard for Wyndham.

If I ever ventured that way, I would probably just use WM credits for a presidential unit. It's 3,050 credits a night for M-F for the 2 bedroom, but the weekend is a killer on credits so I would probably just stay at Oceanside or Indio (through Club Wyndham) for the rest of the vacation lol. You don't need more than 4 days in Anaheim anyways. Here is a video of the 4 bedroom presidential to show off how nice the rooms are.
