Wyndham rep told me silver vip will only upgrade on level?

Is this correct. Will silver VIP only upgrade one level. I made a reservation last nite after Wyndham call center was closed. Desert Blue 12/29-1/1 a studio and a 2 bedroom were showing. I booked the studio thinking it would auto upgrade to the 2 bedroom. It did not☹️went back into site immediately and was going to book the 2 bedroom also it wasn’t there any longer. I thought well maybe it did upgrade my studio because I asked for one. Nope it did not. I’m positive in the past I had a studio upgrade to a 2 bedroom Presidental in Branson. Maybe not??

most likely, since it is now gone, someone booked the 2 bedroom while you were booking the studio.
 
I am offered upgrades during the booking process, if one is there.
