The "Pathways" program was only in operation by Wyndham for a year or two I believe.
We enrolled in it in 2013, and got all of our developer points covered under the program.
Basically, Wyndham has promised to pay us 20% of what we paid for our developer points when
we decide to get rid of our points and quit timesharing.
My question to the Forum is: Has anyone ever used the Pathways option to cash out their Wyndham points ?
If so, what was the result?
What fees did Wyndham charge?
Were you pleased with the procedure?
We're getting on in years, and no kids or relatives will be interested in our T/S if willed to them,
so it behooves us to become familiar with the process by "picking your brain" if you've done it.
Thanks in advance!

Read the fine print. I believe it says Wyndham will pay up to 20%. There was no guarantee they would take back everything.

Several people have recently reported that going through Pathways is now taking months to complete.

We are in the process now. I started working on it in December 2019. They charged a fee of $298 per contract because they had to be split. I received a letter on October 21, 2020 saying they received all required documents to transfer the ownership. Final processing of the contract cancellation has been completed. The agreed payment was to be sent in the mail within 90 days. I called at the end of January 2021 and they said that they are allowed 180 days. I'm anxiously waiting for our money. Everybody is polite and friendly when I call. I don't know if this helps you or not. But this is where we are in the process--almost done. We did Ovation with the remaining contracts and that process has completed. They have done (so far) what they said they would. Just don't be in a hurry.

Thanks - I was afraid they'd try and renege on it somehow.

Thanks to all - that helps. We'll of course do Ovation on our resale points (1,242,000 at National Harbor), but the UDI for 1,000,000 at Oceanwalk and the 1,616,000 in Access will be OK for Pathways, so we're told.

Have you gotten your $$ yet? When the sent the documents in 9-12 weeks, was it a simple signature and mail back or did you have to go see a notary?
Think i am about to start to process.
