Wyndham Owners Interviewed - Sound Familiar?

I listened to that broadcast. Nothing surprising. There are no updates, or evaluations of resorts, only very aggressive sales presentations. It's very disturbing that Wyndham is no longer a reputable company.

The reputation isn't the one they should want

How "reputable" can any company that pitches a product they are selling retail for 100's of times the known resale value - which they played a big part in lowering - be? They have lost any credibility for sales and if they aren't careful will soon have a terrible reputation for operations/management (as Marriott has managed to do with their shortsighted insistence on 10% floating rather than fixed rate based management fees and willingness to "walk away" from resorts if they won't knuckle under to their ever increasing demands) if they haven't already accomplished that dubious "goal".

All they have left are fairly nice resorts (not maintained to proper standards which goes back to poor management) and the recently changing (not for the good of owners) Fairshare Plus Points system. If they manage to kill those they will be regulated to the bottom of the barrel much like Festiva, Sunterra and others have managed to do. Not a great place to be when you are trying to SELL an upscale and optional lifestyle product.

Why complain, we go all the time, know what is all about and take the freebies.
We will keep doing this until we stop getting invited.( I hope never)
A happy Moocher.

I agree. That's the common practice of timeshare industry. Go to Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, you will see. I can't believe that the couple owned TS for 20 years and still doesn't know. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
