Hi all,

I'm purchasing a week (re-sale) at Wyndham Old Town Alexandria. Anyone know how I would go about getting a copy of the financials for the HOA? Any owners here would be willing/able to share these details ?

Any other comments/concerns about the resort would be welcome also.

I think this is a great resort. Give the Resort Manager a call. He can give you the information or refer you to the member of his staff that handles this. Also, just for your information, when I talked to him recently, he indicated that his Wyndham boss serves on the Board of Directors. Hopefully, this will eliminate any problems you might otherwise encounter in getting the information you want. You referenced a week at Old Town Alexandria. Is it a fixed week or a points contract with an underlying deeded week? When I talked to him recently, I thought he indicated that Old Town Alexandria only had the UDI contracts. Maybe I misunderstood.
 
Hi, I don't have a copy of the financials (I'm too disorganized to hang on to them!), but I can tell you the resort is wonderful! We've been owners there for about 6 years or so and we love it. We go every year, after a year or so, we ended up buying a second contract there so that we can either go twice a year, or once a year in a 2 bedroom. If you love DC (and Alexandria is wonderful too) you won't be disappointed! If you have any specific questions, let me know.
