Not seeing any inventory available, anywhere, today. I called and the VC's can't either. It's an issue they are working on.

Laughable, why not have a message when call in -- why would you have me hold, then verify my account, then ask what they can do for me - and when I say I can't see anything, they tell me they can't either.

Well, it's not all resorts, but there are some strange responses.

Yesterday, there were multiple unit types available at Panama City Beach February 21-28. Today, nada, but Emerald Grande was offered as an alternative. I took the booking process up to the point of actually booking the week at EG, then backed out.

Unfortunately IME Wyndham seems inherently incapable of implementing rather simple and straightforward call deflection strategies that were industry standard some 20 years ago now (if not longer).

I was wondering if it was just me since I am special and lack "normal benefits that everyone else seems to have" because I own only one contract and that one is Biennial. Every time Wyndham changes their program, it gets worse for me. Apparently they do not offer Biennial contracts any more and don't care to fix anything that they've messed up for owners like me. And I am told the only solution is to (essentially) buy more points, however they may actually word that solution. But I digress.

Over the weekend, a few days after their website was off overnight for maintenance/upgrade one day last week, I was able to snag a booking that I had been looking for and not finding availability since I started looking a few weeks ago. Then, since last night, I am seeing nothing even at resorts that always have availability this time of the year. So I am guessing that whatever this glitch is, has not been caused by the upgrade last week.

I'm leaving Friday and will be staying in 3 different resorts until middle of January, they better not mess up my bookings

Getting this lovely message, probably because my points are in the negative for 2025:

You gonna put on your boxing gloves and fight Wyndham. It's a losing battle against them. The droids that work for Wyndham tow that Wyndham line.

I am pretty sure your bookings will stay as they are. I am just making light of my own situation currently. They don't really lose bookings.

Anyone hearing that Wyndham won’t let us use our resale contracts
That would be nuts, since a large percentage of owners are resale. Wyndham salespeople lie.

Wyndham has to honor deeds and points. Buy resale (get it free) and never be unhappy with overpaying. Just make sure the points are low per 1,000 in MF's.

Yea, even the most vindictive removal of people from systems that I've heard of, or even the most restrictive resale stuff still must let you use a deeded week at a specific resort - if that's the actual deed you have. I imagine Wyndham can play around somewhat, but they can't deny a deeded UDI booking I wouldn't think.

I've never heard it firsthand, but then I've never attended a sales meeting. I've never been restricted from using my resale points for anything other than the known/published restrictions (VIP, Club Pass, PlusPartners, RCI Nightly Stays, etc.).

Stop attending sales updates and talking with the sales weasels. If their lips are moving...they are lying.
