Wyndham Majestic Sun Availability

I have been to Destin several times in the past and watch availability for the different Wyndham resorts quite a bit. I know there are times when the Majestic Sun is difficult (if not impossible) to get but it appears something strange is happening next year in September.

I spent the last week of September 2015 at the Majestic Sun and enjoyed it so much we decided we wanted to go back next year. So I began checking at the 10 month window and there is no availability that week or the WHOLE month of September. There is availability in August but none in September. This is not even prime time at the resort. I checked any amount of days and and various check in days and still no availabilty.

Any thoughts why?

Yeah, September has always been a favorite time of ours. Suddenly, nothing.

Have you tried calling the resort to see if there's a maintenance event or something? I recall an issue a couple years ago with a couple of resorts showing no availability, and it was some sort of computer issue with the reservations server IIRC.
