I got a call from Wyndham saying I did not pay something, it was likely a missed payment during the switch over to new paymentus system, blah blah blah, you know the routine. Pay them just over $600 in missed payments and late fees and what card do I want to put that on.

One second Wyndham, I put all my payments on my Credit Card and I can pull the payments for the entire year and I never missed one. I filter by vendor and have the proof in seconds.

Head scratching on wyndham's side, that not what our system says. Well I say your system is wrong. They check Paymentus and it shows ALL of the payments, but Wyndhams system is wrong, and does not. After a lengthy hold, rep cames back and agreed that I own nothing, and that something is wrong and this is noted on my Wyndham account.

Two weeks later I get another notice in the mail threathing to cut me off because now I owe tham amost $1200.

This is just turning into a comedy of errors Wyndham, get your crappy system FIXED.

Well when I called back on this new letter, I finally got her to admit they YES, wyndham is having an issue with Paymentus.

So lesson is, look at your Paymentus History, and makes sure all is well, so when Wyndham calls you, can basically tell them they are wrong, and to note that and stop the collection calls from coming. Because EVEN if you have PAID in FULL and ON TIME, you will get a collections call and letters. They can stop the calls if they check your account and put a note on it. So there is a way to stop calls, but she said the letters will come anyway.

So my guess is right now everyone is showing delinquent. So your guilty until proven innocent.

Good thing I keep all of the payment email confirmations sent each month from PaymentUS - on top of any credit card proof of payment. Makes it easier to prove payment processing and push back on the false claims. I have a management contact within the finance department from back when PaymentuS was initially implemented and we were working on various implementation issues - I think I'm going to reach out to her and point her to this thread and ask her what's going on and if she can provide any information as to what we can tell impacted owners.

I have been experiencing the same thing since last September. The first couple of calls caught me in my car. When they told me I owed, I said that is not possible since they deduct monthly on my credit card. Since I had just completed a fixed week exchange I wondered if that had caused additional troubles, and instructed them to email me an invoice of what I supposedly owed. I never received it. I got a second collections call, same result. Third time got a capable agent who caught me at my desk, I reviewed the entire history with her and a year's records of payments (I have it documented). She saw the problem and sent it for review.

Seemed the problem was gone until the calls started again in January 2023. This time I had access on-line to paymentus (Previously, I could not sign in on line and had to call to manually get password access, Wyndham after 15 years still doesn't handle Canadian postal codes online properly). I pointed out that my payments did not match what was credited to my account. October through January had random payments that were lower then the actual payment. It was a good agent who saw the problem right away and sent it for review. However, since then I have received 2 calls I answered, and unsure how many I missed. Each time I ask if they are calling about a solution which surprises the agent who is calling for collections.

So basically same as Sandy, actual payments aren't matching the amount credited. February there was a change, they now credited me $10 more than I paid. However, they still say I owe hundreds. And the last phone call 2 weeks ago ..... still no resolution.
