I have called over the last few months. Is there any hope of this being available again? We just want to be out of our timeshare as we can't use it anymore.

What are you trying to give back? Club Wyndham Access or a deeded week in Select?

Acceptances through Certified Exit are on and off. Off at the moment, I guess.

In the meantime, are you doing anything else to rid yourself of your timeshare? You've been a TUG member for over five years so you may be familiar with the Marketplace. Try listing it there. Or, list it in the Free Timeshares here on TUGBBS.

Don't for any reason contact a "timeshare exit company."

I don't trust the exit companies, but maybe will consider the give away option. What is involved in that?

The most likely scenario to give it away is you'll have to pay the transfer fees to Wyndham. You really shouldn't need to pay for a closing company like LT Transfers to do the closing since there is no deed with Access. Here is a post from someone who gave theirs away recently in the Free Timeshares forum.

This looks easy. However, when I called Wyndham, they said I could only transfer to an immediate family member.

You must transfer to an immediate family member if (a) you purchased from the developer and (b) you want to make sure any developer-specific benefits (e.g. being able to use them for ClubPass) remain available. But, you can trasnfer it to anyone.

If I ask Wyndham about this will they give me the information of the options?

The options are: find someone willing to take it, and transfer it to them. This page has a link to the necessary form. Assuming you are transferring all of your contract(s) to the same person, you want WVR General - Complete Transfer.

I have a CWA only. I will continue to look into it. Thanks so much everyone. Any additional insight is always appreciated.
