Wyndham Access Developer versus Resale

I am getting conflicting answers when I call Wyndham to book using my Wyndham Access resale points. It is my understanding that because of the nature of a Wyndham Access Contract itself I can book 13 months out in a Wyndham Access Resort. I also understand that I can’t get upgrades when using resale, ie: booking one bedroom and expecting an upgrade to a 2 bedroom. Why are some of the employees telling me I have to wait until 10 months out to use those Wyndham Access resale points and some agents booking them? Are there new employees that don’t know how it works?

Interesting. We have 3 Wyndham Access resales for a total of 500k points. I have booked several properties in the past at the 13 month point.
I book everything on line and there has not been any issues. I'm not the expert on this, so if another could help us all understand this, it would be great.

They are giving incorrect information. ARP stands as always. Also, I’m not sure why you’re calling to book instead of doing it online.

Surely it's broken. I posted in a different thread but not much response (maybe too offtopic). Not critical for me, so I haven't called (not interested in listening to the reasoning a VC will give me). Here's some of my observations (it's an excercise in frustration if nothing else).

Different resorts, different results. I've tried booking resale at several - I was not sucessful (at Bonnet Creek or Emerald Grand - errors varied (from inventory was no longer available to something unexpected happened).

Mostly CLUB WYNDHAM® Select, I do have resale Bali Hai that is Outrigger Resort Club® by Wyndham

We are developer point owners at Bonnet Creek:

I can see availability and book with the dev points. I get an error if I try to book the January dates that show available. At Emerald Grande (no ownership interest there) I get the inventory is no longer available.

Correction - Galena inventory only shows 10 months out.

Resale CWA owners can book any CWA resort at 13 months provided their are CWA points available at that resort. However, resale points will not give you an upgrade.

Thanks, Brian. I’m not trying to combine and development. I’m just trying to book a reservation the end of November. I swear I’ve done this before with my resale points..

Are other people able to book more than 10 months out - for example at Bonnet Creek. With resale points.

Resale Bonnet Creek or Access points?
Thanks for trying to help. Apparently I'm behind (years, lol) on how this works. Spoiled by back in the day when the resale points were getting VIP benefits. We have CLUB WYNDHAM® Select and Outrigger Resort Club® by Wyndham resale contracts. I swear I used to book out 11 or 13 months with my resale. But must have just been lucky or not understanding. And last year I had point-deposited forward my resale, so didn't expect to book more than 3 months out. So...I guess it's working correctly, I should not be able to book more than 10 months out at these resorts that I am not a resale owner at. (I can book with my developer points and at resorts I own resale I can book further out). There's some goofy displaying of availability, it varies, after 10 or 11 months, but you get errors when you try to book.

Apparently I am the problem. Again, thanks for trying to help me in my confusion.
