I was able to get a lunch reservation at Le Bernardin (#44) for our August trip to NYC. Thanks

What It's Like to Dine at the Best Restaurant in the World

73 countries and counting. I hope to hit the Century Club in a few more years.
That is just outstanding !!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
I have only been to all the continents, probably over 25 countries.

No worries about finding my neighborhood Dairy Dell on the list. Why did I even look? But then, who REALLY needs Reindeer or duck brains served in the skull. Not me, I'm sure.

been to none on that list ... (but I'm not an epicure gourmand)
Brett, guess what, we have not dine at any of the restaurants.
Our favorite restaurants are The Eden and The Murano located on Celebrity Cruise Ships. LOL

Never been to a place with that on the menu. And brains are a no-go for me because they're unhealthy. These places are usually "we picked/foraged/sourced everything on the menu within a 10-kilometer radius of this location."

That's what you're paying for.

Any numbskull can open up a bag of frozen whatever and dump it into a deep fryer. That describes the bulk of US restaurants.

I'm guessing you probably won't like the TUG favorite restaurant

I would hope that the TUG favorite restaurant would at least be a barbecue joint.

I wouldn't be in Orlando. But if for some reason I was, I'd go snag a Bahn Mi (or three) from Little Saigon. That's the best food to be had in Orlando, hands down -- and it costs less.

It's my sincere hope that has the average American becomes a majority minority, our food landscape improves. Every wave of immigration has helped immensely. (Food in my area improved in an instant when many Cambodian families moved there.) Nothing would make me happier than for all the homogeneous chain restaurants to fail for lack of business -- and be replaced by mom-and-pop specialty restaurants. We could do with more decent Indian, Peruvian and West African places.
